Above & Beyond is the official charity for all hospitals within the University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. Their mission is to fund projects that make a real difference to patients, their families and the staff that treat them in Bristol city centre hospitals. With our support, they can create welcoming environments, fund innovative research, provide world-class facilities and the latest technology, as well as support staff training and development.

As we know, the outbreak of COVID-19 has put increased pressure on NHS services and NHS staff everywhere. Like many other charities in Bristol and across the country, Above & Beyond is facing huge disruption to its fundraising. Many of their events have been cancelled or postponed due to the ongoing crisis. Your donation will be used where the need is greatest as we rebuild our NHS following the COVID-19 pandemic. It will fund ground-breaking research into the effects of the disease and help develop innovative PPE to protect NHS staff. It will ensure staff have access to a dedicated wellbeing scheme, over and above what the NHS can offer, giving them access to psychological support. It will also help make sure patients who need to come to hospital during this challenging time have the best possible experience and care. Our support will ensure that Above & Beyond can be there for Bristol city centre hospitals, both now and in the future.
