Camp Simcha exists to make a difference to seriously ill children and their families. Their mission is to ensure that no such child or their family, anywhere in the UK, has to suffer without our support. Now in its 25th year, Camp Simcha provides 23 practical, emotional and therapeutic support services to the whole family, offering a bespoke package of care to more than 1,200 family members across the UK and another 12,000 children through their hospital outreach programme. Camp Simcha supports children and babies with over 50 different types of life-threatening, life-limiting, life-changing and mental health conditions, through their wide range of programming. To read more about how Camp Simcha makes a difference, click here.
COVID-19 has put immense pressure on families of seriously ill children, who  have complex medical needs and face additional feelings of anxiety, isolation and depression. During this difficult period, Camp Simcha staff team, Family Liaison Officers, therapists, consultants and volunteers are working tirelessly and creatively to support families with virtual support groups, emergency household support and food packages, hospital transport, safe nighttime respite for parents, counselling sessions, educational resources and recreational activities, and much more...
